SHIRODHARA 65 minutes: $105 Add-on: $50
The Shirodhara allows you to drift into a state of peace and calm as a stream of warm, herbalized sesame oil flows onto your forehead, mainly over your sixth chakra, or "third eye." The word Shirodhara comes from the Sanskrit words "shiro" meaning, "head" and "dhara" meaning, "flow." This treatment calms the nervous system, brings clarity to the mind and spirit, and is said to be the equivalent of a good night's rest. Includes Abhyanga, which is a full-body massage from head to toe, where your body is covered in warm herbalized oil.
HERBAL WRAP 65 minutes: $105 Add-on: $40
A deeply rejuvenating and detoxifying heat treatment that starts with a warm oil Abhyanga massage followed by an herb rub, which exfoliates and nourishes the skin. You, then, are cocooned in a steamy herb-soaked wrap that allows toxins to be drawn out of your body. While you float in a cloud of bliss you receive a gentle energy balance ending with a foot massage to ease you back from your journey.
SWEDANA 65 minutes: $105 Add-on: $40
A deeply rejuvenating and detoxifying heat treatment that starts with a warm oil Abhyanga massage followed by a full-body herbal steam treatment that helps mobilize toxicity in the body. Your body and limbs are steamed inside a table tent with the head exposed outside the tent. This treatment opens the channels of circulation (srotas), allowing impurities to move into the gastrointestinal tract to be eliminated. The Swedana relaxes the body, reduces tension and allows toxins to eliminate through the sweat glands.
SHIRO-ABHYANGA-NASYA (S.A.N.) 45 minutes: $70 Add-on: $35
The S.A.N. is a thorough head, face, neck and shoulder massage started in a seated position followed by a eucalyptus steam treatment to the head and sinuses. Then, you are moved to the table where, lying down, you receive a full-body Abhyanga massage, a hot towel treatment to the face and chest, as well as gentle, herbal drops for the nasal passages. The S.A.N. brings clarity to the mind and relieves tension and congestion.
ABHYANGA 30 minutes: $55
Your entire body, from head to toe, is covered in warm herbalized oil. With friction, the oil is massaged deep into your tissues to loosen the ama (toxins). The pressure is broad and firm. The quick, repetitive strokes feel good physically and are surprisingly calming and soothing.
